Special September 2023 CMM Ordained Minister letter-Dancing In His Light! Join Our Weekly Intercession For The Nations(details inside)

 Dear Beloved of the Lord,

What are we seeing?  We see more and more each day the 'why' we walk in His light and truth, only found through our lives surrendered and focused on Jesus, our Messiah.
Miriam, the sister of Moses and Aaron, is often remembered as a prophetess who led the Israelite women in song and dance after crossing the Red Sea. In Exodus, chapter 15, verses 20-21:

"Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and dancing. And Miriam answered them, 'Sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.'"

"Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and dancing. And Miriam responded to them, 'Sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously and is highly exalted; the horse and his rider He has thrown into the sea.'"

Miriam's actions are an expression of sheer joy, gratitude, and worship toward God for the miraculous deliverance of the Israelites from Egyptian bondage. She's dancing "in the Light of God," in the sense that she is enveloped by God's presence, blessings, and miracles. Miriam's dance is an example of the ways in which art, music, and movement can be used to honor God, celebrate divine intervention, and inspire a community.

In a broader spiritual context, dancing in the Light of God could be symbolic of living one's life in accordance with divine guidance, wisdom, and love. The "light" could be seen as an illumination of the truth, wisdom, and His divine presence, and dancing could signify joy, freedom, and vitality in living according to that guidance.

So, Miriam is a timeless example of how joyous expression can be a form of worship and testimony to God's greatness. Her actions continue to inspire many people today, whether through liturgical dance, artistic expression, or everyday acts of joy and gratitude.

Here are some more joyous reasons to pray unceasingly and rejoice through every trial and chaotic circumstance in which we are globally bombarded.

Joy in God's Presence - Psalms 16:11 (AMPC): "You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore."

God as Light - 1 John 1:5 (AMPC): "And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [no, not in any way]."

Walking in Light - Ephesians 5:8 (AMPC): "For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [lead the lives of those native-born to the Light]."

Joy and Worship - Psalm 149:3 (AMPC): "Let them praise His name in chorus and choir and with the [single or group] dance; let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and lyre!"

King David's Dance Before God - 2 Samuel 6:14 (AMPC): "And David danced before the Lord with all his might, clad in a linen ephod [a priest’s upper garment]."

Living in the Light of God - Matthew 5:16 (AMPC): "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven."
