I had a great chat Sunday with Farzad.  Farzad is our dear Brother and graduate of the CMM College of Theology. He is recovering from shoulder surgery (from all the tortures Irxn did to him in prison.)
He said now when he goes into Somalia, Yemen and Afghanistan, they can't get enough Bibles as many are so hungry to know about Jesus and want Bibles.  He shared how many Muslim nations are rapidly turning to Christ. He said the West needs to wake up to Christ and get serious about evangelism and standing for righteousness rather than wokeness and political correctness.  

Farzad writes: 'In last 12 years we baptized over 10000 Muslim background Christin over 500 hundred underground churches established in hundred thousands Muslim been reached . whoever tell you Islam is growing you need to think twice Islam is like big hollow palm tree from inside is dying because is based on lies we as a Christian, you should be thankful for Jesus, the king of the king, the truth and life, lion of Judah, which he will give us the victory over the darkness. And we should not take our salvation for granted. He is the king and he’s
 coming back as a king.'

On a conference call last Thursday I asked Dr. Shariat, who was born in Irxn and is a believer if this is true. He confirmed it is true. He said there are two Irxns: The people who are fed up and the clerics, who are aging and out of step.  

Dr. Shariat also quoted a senior Iranian cleric who said, “If we have to kill one million people to keep Islam in Iran, we will”

Dr. Shariat said 'The Mullahs grow old.
The youth joke among themselves that “going to the mosque” means they need a toilet.
Black market demand for Bibles is through the roof and the trending hashtag in Iran is #ISupportIsrael.'

“Iran will be the first Islamic country to turn to Christ,” said Dr. Hormoz Shariat on our STPC call today.  It’s an encouraging report.
