People Were Dying! One CMM Minister Prayed and Miracle Rain Came! Now What?

Do some places seem so far gone there seems to be no way currently to reach them for Christ? I know of such a place in India, even the local Christians had written it off. It was said, "that place is so dark and so hard, there is no point in going there." But then the Lord . . .

God revealed His glory there, and now over 200 hard-core Hindus have accepted Christ. Many more are sure to follow. For now it is called the "rainy village" because we prayed and God made it rain there when there was no chance of it, and rain wasn't expected for months to come. The people asked the Christian God to hear their plea for mercy. And answer He did.

It has quickly come to a point of decision. Will we in the CMM Global Family as part of the body of Christ, step in and help them? They need a church planted in their midst and they need a pastor to shepherd them into following Christ more maturely. Many, many people in this part of India and even beyond are watching to see what happens to the "rainy people." A pastor has stepped forward to move to the village and begin discipling the people. He has a wife and 4 children. Here he is with 3 of his children. His name is Ramulu, and his wife's name is Shanti.

Please pray and ask the Lord what He desires you to do.

The local director of outreach and missions, pastor Joy, has presented the specific expenses on building a bare minimum church buildng for them. The pastor needs $300/month for 6 months to move his family there and do the work. The church building and construction require around $5,000. It is not fancy, but it will be adequate. If thirty people commit to giving $10.00 @ month many lives will be changed for eternity as foundational discipleship is given.

We are talking of turning an entire village from being in deep darkness and bondage to being a beacon of light and devotion to Christ, an example for a great many to witness. This is the work of Jesus Christ. Only He could have brought it thus far. But now we come to more practical steps. They are still spiritual and exciting, and these steps will lead to building a foundation of the Kingdom of God in a place that no one thought possible. Doesn't that sound like our God? The church will be called "Bethel Kingdom Church." Will you help transform many lives and impact this whole region?

Won't you prayerfully consider donating to this church plant? Let us take back what the enemy has stolen and bring revival and reformation in this town. Let us bless these people with a future that will establish this village as a Christian center of worship, discipleship and praise.

Forgiveness is a widely discussed topic, yet after years of studying the Word, searching scripture on forgiveness, meditating on examples in the Bible, reading countless books, and listening to numerous sermons, I realized that I hadn’t truly forgiven or released many people from my heart.
