Pray for Pastor Soly And His Precious Family and Ministry in Cambodia-Long Term CMM Missionary

Pray About Supporting Pastor Soly And His Precious Family and Ministry in Cambodia-Long Term CMM Missionary by Nicole Nieman

New Hope Preah Vihear Children's Home in Cambodia was founded by Pastor Soly and his wife Vanouen in 2011. For over 13 years, they have provided love, care, and hope to more than 100 children, impacting over 3,000 lives through community projects. New Hope works closely with children from surrounding villages, many of whom have been abandoned by their families or the government. The government also brings children to New Hope without providing any support. When officials return for inspections, they often try to extort money, but the orphanage has none to give.      https://donate.stripe.com/7sI16w3xK2U71vG14t

Psalm 35:10 My whole being will exclaim, "Who is like you, Lord? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them."

We were introduced many years ago to Soly and his ministry by Dr. Scott and Dionne Husted, also long-term CMM Missionaries. Scott is a graduate of CMM College of Theology. We were blessed to send a team to visit this precious work firsthand about seven or eight years ago.

The children come from families living below the poverty line, with parents often leaving to work in Thailand. Some never return, leaving their children behind to fend for themselves. Many mothers are unable to care for their children after a divorce, leaving them in desperate circumstances. Many of these children are forced into labor,     working as servants in other homes, carrying goods, cleaning, and caring for animals.     Others pick up items along the road to sell to provide for their families. Large families are common due to a lack of birth control and education on family planning, leading to situations where parents cannot support their children. HIV is widespread, with many children contracting the disease from their parents, and others suffer from malnutrition,  malaria, dengue fever, and inadequate access to food and care.

Without stable families, these children face the dangers of violence and exploitation. Each child has a unique story, but at New Hope Children's Home, Jesus meets them with love, care, hope, and healing. Pastor Soly and Vanouen have dedicated their lives to sharing the love and grace of Jesus Christ, strengthening the faith of these children. In addition to caring for 33 children at New Hope, they also have three of their own, and they currently have no volunteers to assist them and are carrying this burden alone.

While the children are safe, the orphanage is located near a factory, raising concerns about the toxic chemicals they may be breathing in. Their goal is to relocate to a safer home. By November, New Hope must raise $70 monthly to cover each child's food, school tuition, and clothing or the children can't attend school. This amount does not include any medical care. The children need a safe environment, and your support can help us meet this need.

As we help to provide these children with a safe and nurturing environment, we need your support more than ever. Your donation, no matter the amount, will directly and significantly impact the lives of these precious children—providing food, education, clothing, and a chance for a brighter future. Every dollar brings us closer to ensuring their safety, health, and well-being. Please consider joining us in this mission to give them hope, healing, and the love they deserve. Together, we can make a lasting and profound difference.   Click this link to donate for Soly and these beautiful children.    https://donate.stripe.com/7sI16w3xK2U71vG14t
