Staff notes: CMM has appointed Ayub Masih, whom we have known for almost two years as director of CMM's work in Pakistan. Ayub oversees 40 children centers across the quake and war torn nation. He helped distribute humanitarian aid after last year's massive quake killed almost 80,000. We are waiting on the Lord for funds to send CMM Bible College material to Ayub to begin adult Bible training and leadership training. Pray for Pakistan. We claim that nation, by faith, for Jesus. Indeed, what can compare to the sublime privilege and unmatched joy of serving the Lord as a minister of the gospel? During a week of seminars on the prophetic to 5 different church groups in Coban, Guatemala, this group of believers from Iglesia Amanecer found itself on break between sessions, browsing at the local mall. Among the group were a middle school teacher and mother of a toddler, a factory worker, a hair stylist, a high school student, a house painter, a real estate agent and an insurance agent. Precious One, You are being called to intercede this day. Floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, bird flu, perils abound. Yet, the Sons and Daughters of God, must not fret or fear. Be bold, arise, shine, for the hour is at hand to enter into His presence, with joy, thanksgiving, boldness, peace, for others are hurting and looking for Hope. Isaiah 62:6-7 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. NKJV

How is it that we are to guard our hearts? There are many who will offer to surround us in prayer. Jesus would often get away with just a few of His disciples to pray, to eat, to pray, to rest, enjoy some quiet. Where do we find the solace needed in the blurry fray? How do we ask for prayer when good-hearted, well-intending souls apply? Do we share the inner depths of our heart's cry pain? Jesus spoke in parables for the masses, yet to His disciples He unfolded the mysteries. Ho! Do we hear the Spirit quicken saying "there is another for the secrets at hand, withold your tongue for now" and wait for the next instruction, my Lord? Prophetic intercession rests but with a few, (parables and riddles require time in His presence for clarity), deeper things congest the believer, and may even turn that fervent request, by the time it is passed around the church block into a curse against you. Forbid, No, not that! Yet the disciple that knows the Shepherd's voice, will pray

Christ, being a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek, who learned obedience by the things He suffered, is speaking to us. Mature, suffering saints, have to overcome much. Face it, accept it, that you are given trials to mold you into Christ's likeness. Being an overcomer, you must overcome. How you respond will determine your growth rate. Whining and staying in an attitude of immaturity, self-pity, or perpetual crisis hopping, always going from one drama to the next, even becomg addicted to crisis thinking, gives the devil the victory time and again. We must accept that this life is training ground for ruling and reigning. How do we grow and not be in battle? This life is a life of overcoming and persevering through trying times. Each trial is an opportunity to grow in maturity, faith, and all that the Word gives us wisdom in to become victorious overcomers. We need to be fed as warriors to be a warrior. God is teaching many to really rest in Him these days. Many are in transition, feeling confused, or left out. Many are wondering what it all means to be working and working, not having things go the way we want them to go. God has a better way, always. His peace is what overcomes the enemy. He gives us that peace, if we want it. Paul said in Philippians, that he had learned in whatever state he was in to abound, whether in lack, or in abundance. God's abounding peace overshadows our circumstances, making them really, temporary light afflictions.We are being groomed, prepped, ground down, like a finely honed piece of silver, to be His instrument, His tool for transformation. He is helping us to see the way He sees, if we but rest, quiet the mind, meditate on His characteristics, His purposes.This da
